Decorating Our Tree

Tonight we decorated our tree. One ornament in particular brought me to tears in prayer for a very special family. Here is the ornament:

Sneak Peek - The I Family

I had such a good time photographing this family that I shot nearly double what I usually shoot! I just couldn't stop enjoying them from behind my camera! In these pictures you can totally tell that they are such a loving and down to earth family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

D told me she wants a puppy for Christmas... and I can only guess that B wouldn't mind a few front teeth!



Isn't this just sweet? We waited for the waves to wash away old footprints so we could get this shot on clean sand. I think it was well worth the wait!

Sneak Peek - Just One of Baby E

I have to get the word out to all my dear friends that they cannot have babies during the holidays! I like to give them the gift of portraiture as a shower/new baby gift, but I am just too busy at this time of year! But when I saw M's first baby girl (after 3 boys) I just couldn't resist! I told M I would take the pictures, but could not promise to process the pictures before the new year. Well, I couldn't leave her with nothing for that long, now could I? Here is just one of sweet baby E.

Sneak Peek - The B Family

I photographed the B Family recently and we had such a great time! Mama B lives right on this lake in Irvine. We walked halfway around it just snapping pictures. Just spending time with them you can tell they really enjoy each other! B Family - I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

I love the way they look at each other... with so much joy!

On this one I thought I would try something a little different. I felt the timelessness of the shot and the sunflare both called for a little of a vintage look.

The P Families

The P family is one of my favorite return clients! I just adore them! They are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside! This time they brought along the other P family! The guys are brother's. Here are a few shots from out session together. P families, thank you for your patience. It shouldn't be long before I get your pictures finished.

This is the returning P family... can you see the little baby bump on mommy P??? Hopefully that means more opportunities for me to take the P family portraits!!!

Silhouettes

Here are just a few silhouette images from a session I did with my brother and sister-in-law. This one is with their dogs down on the sand when the sun was still pretty high.

And of course, while we were there we had to recreate my signature shot! Although, we had to use a different bench and a different palm tree because the sun is in a totally different part of the sky 6 months later!

These were at the very end of the session and I couldn't stop shooting... just look at that sky! The first is the two of them and the tossing pictures is my brother tossing my girls. I just love them! The sky is unbelievable!!!

The B Family - Urban Style. A Sneak Peek

I love this family! We had so much fun shooting this session down at Balboa Penninsula! I could really get into this style! Anybody else want to do an urban family session?
