Arms Full of Joy!

My friend K has the best attitude when people see her with all 5 (yes, five... 4 girls and a boy!) of her little ones.  The common response is, "WOW, you really have your arms full!"  To which she responds, "Arms full of JOY!" with her big beautiful smile!  And she is so right!  These little ones are pure joy!

Here is one of each of the girls.  To see baby brother's individual picture take a look here at his newborn session: http://jennymcmastersphotography.blogspot.com/2013/02/finally-brother-irvine-newborn.html

And sometimes there is a little chaos in her arms too!  But she is always smiling!

4 Day Old H | Irvine Newborn and Family Photographer

H was the youngest newborn I have ever shot... just 4 days old when he came to see me!  He smelled of newness that made my ovaries ache!  And these two adoring big sisters were so precious with him!  Thank you B family for bringing sweet H to me for his debut portraits!  What a sweet boy he is!

Baby C | Mission Viejo Newborn Photographer

Baby C's momma came to me when C was 4.5 weeks old.  By most people's standards, he is still a newborn... but by a photographer's standards he was already growing up!  He really is growing up too... he was about 12lbs by the time C came to me!  And with that big baby came an alert and strong little fellow!  He was so interested in what I was doing that he stayed awake nearly the whole time!  I can already tell he is going to be a socialite who wants to be sure he doesn't miss out on any of the fun!

Mom wanted mostly black and white's so the first few are in black and white.  I just wanted to show a couple in color as well!

Here's big brother D, while we were waiting for C to fall asleep:  We tried getting one of them together, but it proved harder than we had hoped for.

Mister C | Lancaster Newborn Photographer

Mister C is one of my dearest friends little boy.  So really, he is almost like a nephew!  I just wish they lived closer so I could smell his baby smell more often!  What is it about that baby smell that makes me melt???  So here are a few pictures from our newborn session together with Mister C.

And here is Mister C with his proud big brother, Big C.  Don't you just love how happy he looks to be a big brother!

The W Family, Urban Style | Irvine Family Photographer

The W family won a certificate for a portrait session through MOPS at Voyager's Bible Church in Irvine.  We headed out to a fun urban location and grabbed these fun shots!  I felt this soft processing matched the sweetness of the girls and was a nice contrast to the location.

W Family, enjoy your sneak peek.  The rest of your gallery will be ready soon!

Extended Family Portraits | Irvine Family Portraiture

I was lucky enough to spend the evening with this lovely family.  And when I say lovely, I don't mean it to sound like just a nicety... they truly are some of the most lovely people I have spent time photographing.  I know a couple of them from church, and this is the first time I met the rest of their family.  I could see so much love and adoration in this family.  It was truly a lovely experience!  I hope they felt the same about their time spent with me. :-)

Thank you for your patience while I was on vacation.  Your gallery should be ready soon.

Aren't Grandkids GRAND!?!?
